Start of the “Participation environment” project
The joint project of the Center for Digital Cultures and Media Literacy and the Vladimir Potanin Foundation on the development of university’s collaboration with cultural and social institutions, “Participation environment”, was launched in Perm, Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod. Students of media, history and journalism departments began their work on digital projects for various social and cultural institutions in their cities. We will now have a chance to know more not only about each other, but about amazing projects and regional organisations: museums, theatres, funds, libraries, scientific laboratories, festivals.
Dinara Gagarina from HSE Perm partnered with Perm Art Museum, Perm Modern Art Museum, Perm Museum of Local History and State Archive of Perm Region.
Victoria Belenko and Evgeiya Shaffert from the Journalism department in Novosibirsk started the work of 7 teams: one of them with Novosibirsk State Regional Research Library (there will be working trips to the villages), another group is preparing a project about industrial accelerators that are made all over the world by the scientists of two laboratories of Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics of SB RAS (there will be Russian and English versions). One more group is in collaboration with Novosibirsk State Museum of Local History and Nature. The fourth team is going to tell about theatrical sections during new play preparation (theater “New House”). The fifth team – also theatrical – will tell about the theatrical festival in Novosibirsk and will work on its digital archive. The biggest team will work on a complex project for Novosibirsk buro of RusFond. The seventh team, “an ecological”, will cooperate with the “House of Owl”.
Nelly Boryshneva from HSE Nizhny Novgorod is preparing the launch of the projects with Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum, Boldino Museum, Futuro Gallery, Gorky Museum and Dobrolyubov Museum.
